First Citizen of Islamabad

Herebelow is an article written by renowned writer (Late) Prof. Waris Mir the then Editor of Nawa-i-Waqt eulogizing the great contribution of Maulana Zabeeh towards the struggle for Pakistan Movement and strongly recommending naming Maulana Muhammad Ismail Zabeeh as the “First Citizen of Islamabad” the capital city for his, among other achievements, his unstinted efforts and contributions for the establishment of the new capital of Islamabad.
